The day the World stood Still – Part 1

A few years ago, we were all celebrating the final days of completing our bachelor’s degree. My mates compelled me to propose to the girl I liked.

Swetha is beauty personified. Slightly brown, 5 foot, 8 inches in height, a proper rectangular figure with good meat in all the right places. There was a three-day gap between our final two tests, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With the help of our mutual friends, Suma and Rajesh, everything was going to plan.

Rajesh had taken a room outside the college for the final year. Suma, his Girl and our mutual friend had helped me out to get Swetha for a day outing. After a good meal at a nearby dhaba, Suma and Rajesh wanted to get to the room quickly. They asked us to walk back to allow them some time.

I knew what was going on. We let them take a cab while Swetha and I decided to walk back. The area was well-lit and not too far away to fear something going wrong.

Walking back at 9:45 PM was something different. I looked at her beautiful face. The nose piercing was only adding more shine to the beauty she already was. I was only staring at her for the next few minutes, not caring to talk and ruin the moment.

Swetha: What?

Me: (silent)

Swetha: What is it?

Me: I am admiring you. You are a wonderful being, you know!

Swetha: (with a cute smile, looks down to the floor)

Me: No wonder I fell for you.

Swetha: (stopped walking and stood still)

Me: I love you, Swetha. I always have. For the past three and a half years, I have been holding on. But I don’t think I can anymore.

We locked eyes. There was only silence. I moved closer to her. She stood still. I moved a little closer until our noses touched. I leaned my forehead onto her. Her eyes were closed. I, too, closed my eyes and led my lips forward towards her dried, pink lips.

My lips now touched her lips. I could feel the coldness of her lips but the warmth of her breath. Neither of us moved further or reacted further. The lips did not lock themselves, but both our lips were not cold and dry anymore. They were wet and opened up for a proper kiss.

All of this for almost 5 to 6 minutes, until a speeding truck made us realize we were on a street. We continued our walk, with only awkward silence between us. We reached the room and did not chat about it. Rajesh and I got into a room. Suma and Swetha got into another.

Rajesh: Did you propose?

Me: Kinda. And I do not want to talk about it. Let’s discuss it tomorrow.

Rajesh let go of it. He was more interested in getting me to sleep in the common room to allow Suma into this one. I agreed to move and was in a dilemma if things went the way I wanted them to.

The next day, I got to know that Swetha left to hostel before anyone ever woke up. And then the bomb blasted. Swetha was nowhere to be found. She wrote the last exam and did not even bother saying goodbye. Never lifted my call, never mentioned our encounter to her friends.

Apparently, she did not want to talk about me. No matter how many times I tried reaching out, she never responded. A few months later, Suma and Rajesh announced their wedding plans, and Swetha was nowhere to be found. A year later, they had a baby boy, no Swetha. She slowly started to fade from my life.

4 Years later, We had planned for a gathering of all college mates at Hyderabad, and I got in touch with Suma.

Me: Hey Suma! Any sign of Swetha?

Suma: Still hung on her, huh! Anyways, There is good news and bad news!

Me: Let me guess. She’s married, and she’s coming?

Suma: Not in that order, I suppose!

Me: I am happy she was coming, but I expected her to have been married by now. We are 28, after all!

Saying so, we continued to catch up. Not much, as we were always in touch. Rajesh joined the discussion. We had a few drinks and got the party started. Sooner rather than later, Swetha appeared in front of us. Wearing a white saree, showing off her cute little upper hip and navel.

She looked like an angel, as usual. Her beauty hasn’t reduced. The nose piercing was different from the last time I saw her. But she was as beautiful, if not more beautiful than that day!

Suma: Well, well. Look who we have! The ghost, eh!

Swetha: (in the beautiful voice she always had! God! Her voice is amazing!) Well. You see, I had issues of my own.

Suma: Not a problem. A long time, lady! (She hugged her tight!) And I guess you remember them?

Swetha: Rajesh! (she hugged him as well)

Swetha: Aman!

And yes! We went for a hug. I don’t know why. I did not want to let go.

Me: A very long time, Ghoster!

Swetha: Ha! Ha! I know. (she smiled)

Me: So why the Ghosting, may I ask?

Swetha: Long story. Soon after college, I got married, literally within a week. It was all decided in my final year. I did not want any attention on it, so I never told anybody anything. But nothing to worry about. A few days ago, we got the divorce settled.

Swetha: He wanted to give up both mine and his parents and move to the US and I did not like the idea. His parents were very sorry for the kind of guy he now is anyways.

Me: Nicely done, my lady! (I said with all the happiness I had!)

Swetha: Thank you, sir! Now is the time to party, please!

Saying so, we went for a few more drinks. I was not sure if I wanted to bring the topic up. Swetha got a few drinks towards me, who was sitting on a couch.

Swetha: So. You also got married?

Me: Na. I wondered if I had a flaw in me, so I did not.

Swetha: Listen, Aman, I was bound to be married in a few weeks from that day. I was not in the right mind to decide on anything, for that matter.

Me: I still have the same feeling now! I love you, Swetha, I always have.

Swetha: Aman, this is still not the right time. I just got off a failed marriage.

Me: So you do love me?

Swetha: Aman…

She got up and went towards the restrooms. I waited for her to come out, and she never did. I did remember the Hotel she was staying in and went straight there.

Receptionist: Hello Sir, How may I help You?

Me: Hello. I am here on the invitation of Swetha Raghupati. Could you please tell her that Aman is here?

The receptionist called her via the intercom, and he guided me towards her room. She had the door open, so I went straight in and closed the door behind me.

Swetha: (Still in her saree) Aman, what is this?

Me: I want an answer from you, Swetha. I waited three and half years to tell you that I love you. Then you made me wait another 4 years to see you right after my proposal. What is this?

Swetha: Aman, I do love you.

I was overflowing with joy. I went straight to her, held her cheeks and started a kiss. That was an intense kiss. We had our tongues wrestling each other. Saliva was free-flowing. My eyes closed for the entire duration of the kiss. I pushed her to the wall while kissing, not breaking it at all.

My hands now moved towards her hips. She moved her hands towards my hips. We were both hot. The heat of the situation was such that we now fell over the bed. She was on top of me, holding my face. My hands were there, moving and caressing her waist. I was rubbing her cold waist with my warm hands.

We then broke the kiss and looked into each other’s eyes. I could sense the horniness in her eyes, and I am sure she could sense mine. She took off the pin, holding her pallu to her blouse. I held her 40-size breasts and started fiddling.

I moved to remove her blouse hooks, revealing more of her breasts, now held by a white bra. She unbuttoned my shirt and got it removed. The air-conditioner was cool, but the heat of the moment had me sweating.

She unhooked her bra, and there we were.  Both of us. Kissing and fiddling with her breasts, moving up and down the bed and above each other with our upper bodies naked.

More in the next part!
